If you come with heavy luggage, we recommend to take a taxi. Off-season, it takes about 20 minutes to get to JIJUDEN at about ¥2,500 the ride. Ask a driver to take you to “Kinkakuji Gontaro”, a famous noodle restaurant just two door next to JIJUDEN. Please print out the map at the end of this page to show it to your taxi driver.

Kyoto City Bus & Subway Information Guide

If you like to take a municipal bus, go the bus terminal platform B2 in front of the North gate of Kyoto Station, and take the bus No.50: bound for "Ritsumeikan University". Then get off at the terminus “Ritsumeikan University”. It takes about 40 minutes at ¥230/person, and JIJUDEN is about 5 minutes by walk from the stop. Please print out the map at the end of this page to get to JIJUDEN.
